PATRICK PEACOCK

President/Founder

Patrick was born and raised in Chicago and attended the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Economics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he was also recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

He enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman in 1998, later to be commissioned into the Infantry in 2008. During his military career, he completed six combat tours within Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Liberia. During these tours, he led units up to 230 personnel in size. After 20 years of military service and earning numerous medals, including the Bronze Star, he retired from the United States Army in December 2018.

By developing and participating in community engagement opportunities, Patrick has continued to serve during his transition from the military. His commitment to the community was a direct reflection of him being elected as the 7th ward Alderman for the city of Davenport, Iowa. The establishment of The Peacock Foundation is how he will continue to serve. By uplifting members of the community through education and opportunities, they will be empowered to do the same.

Patrick is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and a life member of the American Legion, Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
